The Congress Branch of the Blue line opened in 1958 and connected to the existing Dearborn subway at LaSalle. It is the closest 'L' station to Union Station, the terminal for several Metra and Amtrak and the Chicago Greyhound Bus Terminal. It is also the deepest station on the CTA system.

CTA has a station at Clinton. It gives you good access to downtown. What isn't good is the condition of this nasty ass facility. Avoid touching anything. The place also really smells. It sadly...

Not too many people, but everyone was masked, and stayed distanced. It was clean and pretty quiet.
