Founded in 1959, Thresholds is one of the largest nonprofit providers of mental health services worldwide. It offers therapeutic support, case management, education, job training and placement and housing services. The organization operates at more than 20 locations and serves over 6,000 people with mental illnesses. Thresholds provides individual and group counseling, medication monitoring, crisis intervention and psychosocial rehabilitation services, as well as skills enhancing activities.
