The Conservation Foundation, founded in 1972, is one of the largest non-profit organizations in the northeastern Illinois region focused on preserving and restoring open spaces, protecting rivers and watersheds, and promoting environmental stewardship. With the support of over 5,000 members and 500 volunteers, they have successfully preserved more than 35,000 acres of open land across DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will Counties.
