History

After operating a solo practice for 4 years, Jennifer Larson, President & Psychotherapist of Concentric Counseling & Consulting, wanted to continue to help others by expanding therapy services to reach a greater number of people, including families. Jennifer also began to think about the symbol and meaning of concentric circles. Looking at ourselves and our relationships through the lens of concentric circles, we recognize at the core or center, people of all ages share similar experiences, feelings, thoughts and desires. In 2013, this sparked the name Concentric Counseling & Consulting. Concentric Counseling & Consulting is a group practice where therapists can provide a variety of different services to people of all ages where we come together at the center.

Concentric is a therapy and counseling group practice in both downtown Chicago and North / Northwest Chicago offering individual therapy for adults and young adults, couples and marriage therapy, tween, adolescent and family therapy, online counseling & teletherapy, and clinical supervision and consultation for therapists. The therapists at Concentric are experts in relationship problems, marriage, couple, and family issues, addictions and compulsive behaviors, substance abuse, life transitions, depression, anxiety, bipolar, unresolved family-of-origin issues, and varying degrees of trauma.
