Computer Resource Center

History

Providing training since 1991, the Computer Resource Center is located in the Hyde Park neighborhood on the near South Side of Chicago. We offer full-day computer classes in the most popular software programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) as well as Adobe Creative Studio (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver). We also provide one-on-one instruction and specialized group classes upon request. George Rumsey began offering computer training in 1983, when he worked at the University of Chicago. Forming his own company in 1991, he has provided training to many leading organizations throughout Illinois, including the University of Chicago, Northwestern Unviersity, Lyola University-Chicago, and numerous city, county, state, and federal agencies.
