Glenbard East High School, locally referred to as East, is a public four-year high school located in Lombard, Ill. The school offers educational instruction to students from grades nine though 12. It enrolls more than 2,500 students and is governed by the Glenbard Township High School District 87. Its mascot is the rams, and it offers classes in English, art, business, family and consumer science, industrial technology, foreign language, math, music, science, social studies and speech arts. Glenbard East High School has boys and girls athletic teams for various sports, including baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, cheerleading, track and field, football, golf, gymnastics, shuffleboard, soccer, swimming, tennis, wrestling and badminton. The school also organizes extracurricular activities, such as camel racing, chess, instrumental, vocal and organization music, pom pon and scholastic bowl.
