Colonial Funeral Home and Crematory

Justen Funeral Home is a family business operated by the fourth generation of the Justen Family to serve McHenry in the funeral business, Mark Justen. Mark and his wife, Nancy, also a licensed funeral director in Illinois and Wisconsin, own and operate the funeral homes. Mark continues to operate the first, and for many years, the only crematory in McHenry County. For over 27 years, the crematory has been located at the McHenry funeral home location. Justen Funeral Home serves its families from three funeral home locations. Justen Funeral Home & Crematory (formerly known as George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home) and Justens Wonder Lake Funeral Home are located in McHenry County. Justen Funeral Home & Crematory relocated to its newly constructed facility in June of 2008. Justens Round Lake Funeral Home is located in Round Lake and serves the greater Round Lake area in Lake County.
