Chicago's Legal Cafe (CLC) is a unique concept because a law firm and a coffee house share the same space. Located on the lower level and loft area of the space is CLC a/k/a/ The Law Offices of Mazie A. Harris, P.C. and on the main level is a beautiful, very inviting cafe. The reason behind the concept was to put a twist on the legal tradition, by removing the stuffiness many face when visiting a lawyer. CLC's mission is to make people feel comfortable when visiting a law firm. Leave your problem to us.

Chicago's Legal Cafe (CLC) has a network of knowledgeable attorneys. Whatever your issue, CLC is here to handle it. To accomodate your schedule, CLC has weekend hours. Located inside CLC is Barista Espresso (BE),a full service cafe. BE offers the best coffee in Chicago (Stiver's Coffee) as well as sandwiches and pastries. Yes, the best! After several blind taste testings, Stivers beat out the well known local roasters. BE is also becoming known for their signature Turkey Breast (Butterball) sandwich, toasted on a Ciabatta roll and garnished w/ basil pesto, mayo, lettuce, tomatos cucumbers and hot peppers (optional). All sandwiches are made to order-so please come in a relax, enjoy the atmosphere. BE believes in supporting local businesses and all of our products are made in house, to order or provided by local bakers, such as Carol's Cookies. OMG, if you are a Kombucha drinker, you must taste BE's homemade Kombucha.
