Chicago Arts & Music Project
The Chicago Arts & Music Project (CAMP) was dedicated to providing tuition-free music instruction on Chicago's West Side, envisioning a world where orchestral education is accessible to all, regardless of social standing. Over its seven years of operation, CAMP impacted 441 students across 73 schools and 37 neighborhoods, fostering youth leadership and civic engagement through music.
Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties and the resignation of its Executive Director, CAMP announced its closure and dissolution as a nonprofit organization effective June 30th. As it winds down, the organization aims to distribute its remaining assets and hopes that its students will continue their musical education through other low-cost or free programs in Chicago.
