Great resource, educational and yes indeed, can they put on a show! If you are looking to collaborate with local artists, take a series of classes (screen printing!), buy something pretty to hang...

TRY IT! MAKE IT! SHARE IT! Chicago Art Department (CAD) provides space and resources for artists to grow and question the city we live in. CAD began in 2004 as a small group of artists and educators with a mission to experiment with learning, providing simple programing while asking artists to Try It, Make It and Share It. Built around ideas of Intermedia growth and themed programs, over the years CAD artists have been pushed to look at important topics, connect with peers, create new works, participate in exhibitions, and lead public events for public audiences. CAD's Physical spaces feature 15000 square feet, three galleries, studio spaces, and community event areas.
