FreshSkin Medical Spa & Wellness Center is dedicated to true health and wellness of the skin and body. Located in Highland Park, Illinois, Dr. Josie L. Tenore opened the practice in 2011 with a focus on aesthetic medicine. Her lifelong passion in wellness and curiosity in seeking answers for her patients' health concerns brought to fruition the idea of bringing to the North Shore the best of advanced solutions in anti-aging cosmetic services coupled with wellness services and products for both men and women. Known in the Chicagoland community as an aesthetic restoration artist, Dr. Josie creates natural looking results with dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxers.

Josie L. Tenore, M.D., M.Sc., is a board-certified family physician who became interested in aesthetics during medical school. As a result, most of her electives focused on dermatology and plastic surgery. This unique combination of family medicine and aesthetics led her to advocate a program of eating well, exercising and aesthetics for patients who want to have the best quality of life. Dr. Josie completed her medical training at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada, in 1984. Her belief in continuing education to expand her knowledge and skills led Dr. Josie to receive training in varicose vein treatments in 1986, and chemical peels and skin care in 1988.
