Augustus Tolton Academy, located at 7120 S Calumet Ave, is the first school in the Archdiocese of Chicago designated as a STREAM institution, emphasizing science, technology, religion, engineering, art, and math. Formed from the merger of the former St. Columbanus and St. Dorothy's schools, the academy opened its doors on August 24, 2020, welcoming approximately 250 students for its inaugural academic year.
