Carol Stream Fire Station 27

The Carol Stream Fire Protection District provides fire and emergency medical services for the Village of Carol Stream and the unincorporated areas of Wheaton, Chicago and Bartlett in Illinois. It also serves the villages of Bloomingdale, Winfield and Glendale Heights. The district offers fire fighting, specialized rescue, fire code enforcement and public education services. The Carol Stream Fire Protection District also provides routine fire safety inspection services for industrial, commercial, educational and multifamily buildings. It focuses on public safety education through extinguisher training, school programs, open houses, business fire block parties and other events. The district serves an area of approximately 15 square miles with a population of more than 45,000 people. The Carol Stream Fire Protection District operates several fire stations that maintain fleets of pumpers, rescue units, tower ladders and paramedic ambulances. It operates a training facility.
