Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See

4H Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See is a summer camp that offers a variety of activities for boys and girls. The camp operates various programs for groups to experience and learn about the natural world. Spread over 105 acres of rolling hardwood forest and open meadows, the camp offers various sessions, such as a youth camp, extreme camp sessions and family camp weekend. The camp attracts participants from various church groups, youth organizations, service clubs, schools, professional groups and hobby clubs. Its activities include archery, arts and crafts, challenge and rope courses, climbing, rappelling, farming, ranching, gardening, environmental studies and team building. Additionally, it offers aquatic activities, baseball, softball, basketball, camping skills, outdoor living, canoeing, ceramics, pottery, football, hiking, soccer, team field sports and recreational swimming. Located in Manteno, Ill., 4H Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See is accredited by the American Camping Association.
