Business & Industry Federation of Economic Concern

The Business & Industry Federation of Economic Concern (BIFEC) is a nonprofit organization established in April 1975, originally to address legislative changes in Illinois Workers Compensation and Unemployment Compensation Laws. Over the years, BIFEC has grown into a coalition comprising approximately 80 organizations and 145 individual members, focused on legislation affecting the business community in Illinois.

Membership in BIFEC provides organizations with opportunities to engage in economic change and stay informed on critical business issues.
