Building Stage
The Building Stage, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit theater company based in Chicago's West Loop, has been dedicated to presenting original ensemble-created works since its establishment in 2005. Known for their inventive adaptations of classic tales, the company has garnered recognition, including an award for their 2011 production of Moby-Dick.
As they prepare to close their doors at the end of April 2013, The Building Stage proudly presents their final production, Dawn Quixote, which playfully reinterprets Miguel de Cervantes' celebrated masterpiece. This world-premiere production transforms the iconic adventures of Don Quixote and his squire Sancho into a personal and poetic reflection on the costs of dreaming.
