Founded in 2000 by Tom Day, the organization has grown to include over 3,000 volunteer buglers across all 50 states and overseas, offering their services free of charge.

The organization aims to ensure that every veteran receives a dignified farewell, filling the void left by a shortage of military buglers. All volunteers, regardless of background or experience, must pass an audition to maintain high standards and provide an honorable performance at funeral services.
