History

Jessica and Luis Solares have been teaching music to students of all ages since 2001 and opened their own studio in Bucktown in March 2009. They strive to provide high quality, family- oriented services that focus on education and fun.

Specialties

Family owned and operated music studio that offers fun and professional music education for adults and children. Private music lessons for children age 6+ to adult on voice, guitar, bass, violin, piano, drums, percussion, ukulele, banjo, viola, and woodwinds. Lessons focus on nationally recognized study materials and are supplemented by what the student wants to learn. Our teachers have music degrees and experience teaching students of all ages and levels. Bucktown Music offers one on one instruction for children and adults. Lessons are based on the student's individual needs and learning style. Lessons are fun and educational; we strive to build a love of music and of playing in each student, and foster their natural creativity in a structured environment. We have many years' experience teaching students of all ages and levels. Kindermusik classes focus on development of the whole child through music, and parent education on how to incorporate music into their child's life and how music helps brain development. Kindermusik is open to families with year between 0 to 6 years old. This year Bucktown Music was recognized by Kindermusik Intl. as one of the top 5% of all Kindermusik programs worldwide!
