Brian Schwartz, MD

Dr. Angelo Savino is a board-certified family medicine physician with fellowship training in primary care sports medicine. He specializes in non-operative orthopedic care, sports injuries, ultrasound diagnostics, guided injections, and PRP therapy. As lead physician at IBJI’s OrthoAccess clinic in Libertyville, he treats athletes of all levels. Dr. Savino has served as a team physician for professional, collegiate, and high school teams. He values strong patient-physician relationships and is dedicated to helping patients stay active and healthy to enhance long-term quality of life.

Jacob M. Babu, MD, MHA, is dual-fellowship trained in spine surgery and orthopedic trauma surgery, having completed advanced training at Brown University and Johns Hopkins. He specializes in comprehensive spine care for adults and adolescents, including nonoperative treatment, minimally invasive and complex spinal reconstruction, motion-sparing procedures, and trauma. He is among the few surgeons in the state performing endoscopic spine surgery, one of the least invasive options available. Dr. Babu has authored research and textbook chapters, presented nationally, and is a member of AAOS and the North American Spine Society.
