The Village of Bloomingdale is a government office, which operates the departments of administration, finance, utility billing, village services, police, building and zoning, engineering, emergency and nonemergency. The government office is located in Bloomingdale, Ill. Its village services department is responsible for protecting the residents and future residents by assuring compliance with zoning ordinances; building, plumbing and electrical codes; accessibility standards; and other related ordinances. The department also develops and maintains the village infrastructure, including streets, water systems, sanitary sewer treatment collection systems, storm sewer systems, street lighting and sidewalks.
