Established in 1976, Distinctive Foods LLC has been manufacturing a wide variety of baked goods, including cheesecakes, carrot cakes, brownies, blondies, Crispy Rice Treats, Chocolatey Dipped Pretzels and other dessert items. Located in Wheeling, Ill., the company's customer base includes McDonald s, Wal-mart, Costco, Safeway, Kroger, Lufthansa, Hard Rock Caf , Levy Restaurants, Market Day, Lettuce Entertain You, Dan Ryan's (Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong) and many others. The company specializes in custom formulations and manufacturing for Foodservice, Institutional and Retail Grocery customers. Distinctive Foods LLC is the parent company of Pie Piper Products, a bakery that produces high quality bakery items under the inspection of U.S. Department of Agricultural (USDA).

Gonnella Baking Company produces more than 1.5 million pounds of product weekly at three Chicago area facilities. As a supplier for the in-store bakery and food service industries, the company offers several product lines within the fresh baked, fresh baked frozen and frozen dough categories. Gonnella Baking Company has renewed sponsorship agreements with the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field and at Wrigley Field and Miller Park in Milwaukee for the 2005 baseball season. It also has renewed a sponsorship agreement with the Chicago Bulls and the United Center that allows Gonnella to continue serving as the hot dog bun supplier for the team and the facility. The deal runs through the end of the 2006-07 season. Gonnella Baking has been recognized by the Business Marketing Association of Chicago with two Gold Tower Awards.
