Argenta-Oreana Community Unit School
Argenta-Oreana High School is a part of the Argenta-Oreana School District comprising of approximately 76 square miles of territory in the Macon and DeWitt counties of Illinois. The school district is organized by attendance centers and the high school is located in Argenta, Ill. It has a pupil teacher ratio of 15:1. Students must earn 26 credits for graduation, courses in government, health, consumer education and consumer education, English, math, American history, social studies, art, music, foreign language and vocational education. Physical education is compulsory. Students can participate in extra-curricular activities such as in cheerleading, soccer, football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball and track. Additional opportunities are available in scholastic bowl, the high school newspaper, yearbook, student council and drama.
