Beckemeyer Grade School

Carlyle Elementary School offers academic classes to students in pre-kindergarten through grade four. It has an annual enrollment of more than 500 students. The school provides a variety of instructional programs in English, math, writing, reading, computer education, science, social studies and language arts. Carlyle Elementary School operates a library and a parent-teacher organization. It organizes a research-based intensive reading intervention program and various parent workshops. The school also offers breakfast and lunch options and speech therapy services to students. Carlyle Elementary School is a part of Carlyle Community Unit School District 1, which governs an elementary, junior high and high schools.
