With a mission rooted in faith and service, 100% of the proceeds from every purchase go directly to support local and regional charities. The store’s donation center provides a convenient way to declutter responsibly and make a lasting impact in the community. Commonly donated items include apparel for all ages, shoes, toys, books, kitchenware, and décor. Matthew 25 Thrift Shop proudly supports dozens of charitable organizations, including the Spirit of Faith Soup Kitchen, St. John’s Breadline in Springfield, Teen Challenge, the Jacksonville Area Community Food Center, and many others. The shop also runs a robust recycling program, ensuring that unsellable items are handled sustainably to reduce landfill waste. Located at 767 South West Street in Jacksonville, IL, Matthew 25 Thrift Shop is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
