Jennifer earned her Master of Social Work degree (Mental Health Specialization) and post-graduate studies (School Social Work specialization) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Bachelor of Arts in child, family and community services from the University of Illinois-Springfield.Prior to joining Springfield Clinic, Jennifer worked with Sangamon Area Special Education District for more than 25 years. Jennifer also worked at several mental health settings in the past. In her free time, Jennifer serves as a member of the Springfield Civic Garden Club, the Animal Protective League and makes wreaths for a medical fundraiser. She also loves to garden and her yard is a certified wildlife habitat. She won an award for gardening several years ago.
