Baha'i Faith

Founded in 1844, Baha'i Faith is one of the youngest independent monotheistic religions in the world. It is also one of the largest geographically widespread religions, with more than 5 million adherents in over 230 countries and territories. The Baha'i House of Worship consists an auditorium, used only for prayer and meditation, the gardens, and the visitor center. It also houses a foundation hall, reading and viewing rooms, and a guide lounge, and offers various devotional and spiritual programs. It additionally provides prayer breakfast program offering refreshments to the visitors, and Spanish presentations on the Bah ' Faith for Spanish-speaking visitors. The community has also developed a curriculum for the spiritual education, and operates a network of regional schools that offer family-oriented programs for people of all ages to deepen their knowledge of the Baha'i scriptures and apply the Baha'i teachings in their personal, family and community lives. It is located in Evanston, Ill.
