The Art & Antique Centre of Oak Brook is Chicagoland's newest venue for art lovers looking to acquire art and antiques, rent space for an event, or enhance their knowledge of art. From Persian Rugs to Tiffany Lamps, the gallery exhibits a variety of European, Middle Eastern, and American fine art and antiques. The Artist and Dealer Rental Suites will also soon be filled with Modern and Contemporary works. The Centre boasts a 10,000sqft space with 12ft ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and a full commercial catering kitchen. The Centre is open to accommodating corporate and private meetings, cocktail parties, fundraisers, and social gatherings in addition to special events hosted by the Centre. Studio classes and workshops are hosted in the adjacent classroom, including painting, drawing, portraiture, color theory, and open studio, complete with networking shows. The lecture series provides artists as well as collectors with information on marketing, preservation, and collecting.

It might be better for business if they were actually open on a Thursday afternoon. Web site now says "open only by appt" Doesn't sound good.
