History

The Hartle family established the largest turkey farm in Illinois. During WWII as a war effort, Mr. Hartle allowed military families who were active at Navy Pier and the Calumet Airforce base, took half of his farm and allowed military families not ranking base housing to reside on his farm. As he aged he decided to retire from the poultry business and developed Arrow Ridge Estates as a mobile home community.

Specialties

We are a privately family owned community since 1983. Our community is a quiet, diversified community along with security and broadcasting services. Our yards are considerably larger and we allow pets. Every resident owns their home, but new tenants must be approved before selling by the office located at lot 118.
