Animal Emergency & Referral

The Animal Emergency and Referral Center, also known as AERC, provides a range of veterinary services. It offers cardiology, radiology and emergency care services. The center provides treatment for hyperadrenocorticism, diabetes, hyperparathyroidism, and gastrointestinal, hepatic, hematologic, pancreatic, respiratory and urinary tract diseases. The Animal Emergency and Referral Center offers advanced procedures, such as esophagoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, arthrocentesis, thoracocentesis, abdominocentesis, nonsurgical biopsies and chemotherapy. Its neurosurgical services include spinal surgery services for disk diseases, cervical vertebral instability, brain tumor removal, and cranial and spinal fractures. The center additionally provides a variety of reconstructive surgery services. The Animal Emergency and Referral Center employs doctors, shift leaders, nurses, veterinary technicians and assistants.
