Dr. John Arnold was born and raised in the Midwest. Following his education, he worked at the Cleveland Clinic for six years, before operating a private practice for several years. He then rejoined the Cleveland Clinic before heading back to Illinois and joining the Blessing Health System."I had the opportunity to work with great mentors, and people very well known in the field. I have always been drawn to the medical field and being able to care for others. When I was younger I remember how my provider knew everything about me and my family. I want to provide that same feeling for patients and their family. It is important to me to take time with patients to listen and gather their whole story. I want to know what makes that patient who they are, build a trusting relationship and be able to individualize the care provided. I feel that my nine years of experience as both a preoperative and postoperative registered nurse have given me the opportunity to see first-hand what patients and their family go through during the surgical process. I understand that patients can be anxious before procedures. I want to take my experience and use that to educate and help comfort patients and their family during their surgical journey.
