Peer Foods is on the cutting edge of mass customization. Along with its 95,000 square foot facility in Chicago, Peer also has a plant in Columbus, Ind., with 130,000 square feet of operation space. Peer has been in continuous operation since 1922. Its beginnings date back to 1867, when Christian Buehler Sr. entered the meatpacking industry with his own pork-packing and general butchering operation in Peoria, Ill.

Baja Foods, LLC is a USDA, MBE certified food products manufacturing company founded in 2001. Based in Chicago Ill., the company manufactures a host of frozen Mexican products and also generates SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) for its products, for its customers. It caters to a variety of institutions, including retail, convenient stores, schools, military, vending and many others. The firm s hand crafted product line primarily consists of Mexican food items, and it also produces a range of other ethnic and American food items. Its retail products comprise of a variety of individually wrapped tamales under the Tango brand name. Baja Foods has been an approved food establishment for the United States Armed Forces since 2002. It produces a variety of Child Nutrition (CN) approved lunch and breakfast items for schools and also provides custom packaged food products to its clients.
