We loved this old fashion ice cream shop in the heart of Galena. The counter and the built-ins are all original and ask the owner/manager about the history and he'll give it to you. Delicious ice...

I called at 6PM to confirm their hours and was told they close at 8:30 PM tonight. We arrived at 7:50PM and the sign said open, but the doors were locked. Multiple employees were standing inside....
