Albert Knuth, MD

Todd Simmons, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in pediatric orthopaedic care, limb lengthening, reconstruction and fracture treatment. Dr. Simmons completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University. He subsequently completed his medical training at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He fulfilled his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. Having a natural calling for pediatric care, Dr. Simmons then performed and completed his fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Royal Children’s Hospital, in Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Simmons is an active member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the Limb Lengthening and Reconstructive Society, the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. In addition to his extensive research efforts, Dr. Simmons has presented on many topics including pediatric and adult orthopaedic treatments and procedures. He has a number of patents pending for surgical devices to assist in the care of children. Dr. Simmons is highly recommended by his patients for his comforting bedside manner and commitment to ensuring both patients and their families have an understanding of care plans. Dr. Simmons and his wife have three children. He is an avid outdoorsman, and when not in the office, you can usually find him fishing.

Dr. Jordan Goldstein specializes in the treatment of shoulder, elbow, and knee conditions with advanced arthroscopic shoulder and knee ligament reconstructive techniques, shoulder replacement, and cartilage restoration. A graduate of Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. Goldstein completed his orthopaedic residency at Rush University Medical Center, helping cover as the team physician for local high school and semi-professional teams. He then completed a sports fellowship at Emory University followed by three months of additional training in advanced shoulder reconstruction at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute. While in Atlanta, Dr. Goldstein served as assistant team physician for Emory University Baseball and Basketball as well as Georgia Tech Football, Basketball, and Baseball teams. Dr. Goldstein completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Basis of Behavior at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude.Dr. Goldstein is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He has taught as an associate master instructor for arthroscopic surgery techniques for the Arthroscopy Association of North America in addition to publishing several peer reviewed research articles and presenting didactic lectures. Dr. Goldstein has presented advanced arthroscopic video techniques to practicing surgeons at national meetings as well.Dr. Goldstein has been recognized with hospital distinctions for his compassion and excellence in care of patients and prides himself on having the highest standards of respect and ethics for his patients. Procedures such as arthroscopic rotator cuff repair of the shoulder, meniscal treatment, and ACL reconstruction of the knee are done on an outpatient basis. This minimizes post-operative pain, increases the potential for rehabilitation and can lead to a quicker recovery.In addition to treating patients with sports injuries, Dr. Goldstein also commonly sees patients with work-related injuries to the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle. He performs Independent Medical Examinations and is certified to perform Impairment Ratings per the 6th Edition AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment.Dr. Goldstein enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He is a former national junior tennis player, and still enjoys getting out on the court.

Josephine Mo, MD has been practicing in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery since 2003. She completed both her undergraduate studies and medical school at Northwestern University as a member of the 7-year Honors Program in Medical Education. She also completed her orthopaedic residency at Northwestern University followed by a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Mo is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has also successfully completed a Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand. She is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. She has been recognized by Lutheran General Hospital for her compassion and excellence in patient care.
