A non-profit project of the Latino Union of Chicago, The Albany Park Workers Center is a community-run hiring hall by, and for, day laborers and domestic workers. Unlike for-profit agencies that take a commission, 100% of wages go directly to the worker, and all contracts are negotiated directly between the worker and the customer.
