Aguijón Theater Company, established in 1989, is Chicago's oldest Latino theater company, dedicated to fostering the diverse cultural excellence of Latino artists in the city. Through their new and classic performances, as well as virtual discussions on Hispanic theater, Aguijón challenges and inspires audiences to overcome language barriers and cross cultural boundaries. They also offer acting workshops for adults and youth in partnership with the city of Chicago's After School Matters program, providing opportunities for aspiring actors to develop their talents.
