After Hours Film Society
The After Hours Film Society is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit cultural organization based in Naperville, IL, dedicated to promoting the appreciation of cinema as both an art form and a medium for education. Since its establishment in 1989, it has provided the suburban community with high-quality foreign and independent films that are otherwise unavailable locally.
Screening events are held bi-monthly at the historic Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove, where attendees can engage in open post-screening discussions. The society is committed to accessibility with wheel chair access, closed captioning, and assisted listening devices available for viewers.
