Swimming is permitted only when lifeguards are present during beach season running the Friday before Memorial weekend and closing after Labor Day each year. During the season, swimming is permitted and lifeguards are on duty at all beaches from 11am - 7pm.

Hidden gem of Chicago in my opinion. The sand was extremely soft and the water was so warm when I went. Great relaxing vibes. A little walk if you don't want to pay for parking.
