History

Dave and Jana were the original owners, the had a large gardens and supplied one of the biggest vendors at the Idaho Falls Farmers Market produce to sell. Then the vendor told them there was an opening at the Farmers Market, so they should just come and sell their own stuff, so they did. Jana was an excellent school teacher and she passed away in 2004. In 2005, Dave married an old time sweetheart that frequented the farmers market weekly. They continued to be a vendor at the market until 2015 when Lisa developed some health problems. Now they just operate at the farm and make weekly deliveries to faithful customers in Idaho Falls. We are open by appointment in the winter and in the summer and fall from 10-7 Monday - Friday and 10-6 on Saturdays.

Specialties

Woods Gardens raises tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. We sell farm fresh eggs from the neighbors. We bring fresh walnuts, pecans, almonds from growers in California. We also bring in some of the best citrus around. During canning season, you can get all of your fruits here - peaches, pears, etc.
