History

The Paperhouse was founded in 1980 by JoJane and Bob Hammes. It moved to it's current location at 822 Main Ave. in 1983. The store was expanded in 1985 by purchasing an adjacent building. The Paperhouse was subsequently owned by Dan and Cindy Hammes until it was purchased by current owners Devon & Alex Barta in 2007.

The Paperhouse is a one-stop shop in the heart of St. Maries, Idaho. We specialize in office supplies, but we also have departments to meet all of your shopping needs, including: Books, Educational Toys, Children's Books, Art Supplies, Scrapbooking Supplies and Computer Accessories.
