History

The Sands is family owned and has been the largest and best bar in the area for many years. It has a tropical feel and a local bar appeal with awesome wood panel walls, indoor hopscotch, a hand made stone outline of Idaho around the fireplace and a lot of other unique qualities. Health issues closed it for 9 months in 2011 but there is new management from the Portland area who have updated and revamped the bar and motel. The kitchen and cafe are under remodel and hope to be open soon.
