Selkirk Powder Guides

After 21 seasons at the largest ski area in Idaho we've moved headquarters to the Priest Lake area. Our new meeting area is 8 miles south of Coolin. Backcountry skiing, avalanche safety and snowmobiling are the prime activities this season. As we affect the local vegetation for more ease of large OSV use, the traditional cat skiing like we offered prior, will be available. This season we're asking our cat skiing clients to either come with a 'sense of adventure' and be prepared to experience a slower snowcat lap pace or wait until the improvements planned take shape. Avalanche safety has been the culture of Selkirk Powder for 21 years, join us for custom Rescue and Level 1 courses. For snowmobiling were offering "guide only" options with great access to rental Ski Doo or Polaris snowmobiles from two wonderful, local providers. Rent brand new sleds and meet your guide to take rides all over the Priest Lake State Forest. Our premier destination remains Schweitzer Mountain Resort.
