The Walker Center is a nonprofit organization providing a wide range of chemical dependency treatment services. It was founded in 1976 and is located in Gooding, Idaho. It has the accreditations, licenses and affiliations of the Commission for Accreditation of Residential Facilities for residential treatment of alcohol and other drugs and addictions for adults. It is also affiliated with the National Association of Addictions Treatment Providers. The center provides various outpatient treatment services and adult residential care services. It also offers rope courses that are used for experiential therapy and a fitness trail. The Walker Center's counselors serve the surrounding area by providing a variety of services, including assessments, crisis interventions, public speaking, workshops, in-service training, cooperation with employee assistance programs and referrals.
