Newby-ginnings of North Idaho Inc. is a non-profit organization established in October 2013 to honor SPC Nicholas Newby, who was killed in action in Iraq. The organization provides essential personal and household items, resources, and referrals to Veterans, Active Military, and Gold Star families at no cost, enabling access without income eligibility requirements.
With a commitment to supporting local heroes with dignity and respect, Newby-ginnings serves clients through community donations and fundraisers, ensuring that no money exchanges hands during the assistance process. As demand grows, the organization is launching a Capital Campaign to secure a larger facility to better accommodate clients and expand services, including the development of a Veterans Community Center.

I met Theresa years ago when caregiving for a couple of veterans. This is an amazing place for veterans and their families to find clothing, appliances, furniture and more.
