Fort Hall Casino
Shoshone-Bannock Gaming is the gaming casino business division of the Shoshone-Bannock Indian Tribes. The tribes exercise sovereign status in the operation of gaming, and operate one of two casinos in Fort Hall, Idaho. The casino features table games, card games and east Idaho's only high stakes Bingo, with up to $2 million in prizes. The casinos also feature electronic lucky tab machines, with some of the machines operating in French and Spanish as well as English. The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes are located in Southeast Idaho eight miles north of Pocatello. The Fort Hall Indian Reservation was established by the Fort Bridger Treaty of 1868 as a 1.8 million acre homeland for the Shoshone and Bannock Indian Tribes. Today the reservation consists of 544,000 acres of which the Tribes own 96 percent. There are approximately 5,000 enrolled tribal members of which approximately 3,500 live on the reservation. Tribal members are engaged in agricultural, construction, retail and service businesses and many work for the tribes in the tribal enterprises and for the tribal government. On the reservation the tribes operate a grocery store, a clothing store, a museum, a buffalo herd, farms, service stations, a middle and high school, and the casino.

"The Hotel was quite expensive for the night and the rooms do feel out of date. They are very nice still, the staff was very helpful and my wife and I had a great experience. We saw a concert there..."
