History

Dennis James saw a great need for better access to health care for acute injury and illness in Southern Idaho. He envisioned a walk-in clinic, with extended hours, open 7 days per week to accommodate the minor emergencies with major care. Riverview Urgent Care was the answer to his vision. Along with the help of his son Kyle and his wife DeeAnn, Riverview Urgent Care and Medical Center opened its doors for business in 2012. Riverview Urgent Care is located on North Overland Avenue in Burley, Idaho, where it is conveniently located in a high-traffic area. It is convenient when being injured or sick is not. Riverview Urgent Care is here to serve the community. Not long after opening Riverview Urgent Care, Dennis saw other communities in Southern Idaho that faced similar struggles with access to needed health care. Plans were put together to help fill the void in those communities. In 2016, Urgent Care of Twin Falls opened.
