Boise Urban Garden School (BUGS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating youth and adults about gardening and nutrition through science and environmental-based lesson plans. Serving approximately 10,000 young people each year, BUGS offers a variety of programs including outdoor preschool, on-site field trips, and culinary garden camps that connect participants with the joys of growing their own food. Founded by Amy Hutchinson and Wendy Young, BUGS aims to foster a healthier community by cultivating a passion for gardening.
