Hayden is a city in Kootenai County, Idaho, United States. The population was 9,159 at the 2000 census.
Hayden was once called "Hayden village." In 1955, it was incorporated as Hayden City.
It is often confused as the former location of a 20-acre (81,000 m2) compound for the neo-Nazi, genocidal Aryan Nations white supremacist group, which was actually located in neighboring Hayden Lake.
