East Boise Community Work Center
The East Boise Community Reentry Center, established in July 1980, was the first reentry center in Idaho and became an all-female facility in September 1989. With a capacity to house 148 female residents classified as minimum custody, the center offers treatment programs, support groups, community service, and employment opportunities to facilitate successful reintegration into the community.
In addition to promoting a positive environment for residents, the East Boise Community Reentry Center adheres strictly to regulations regarding contraband and visitor policies. Special visits require prior approval, and visitation schedules are subject to change, ensuring the safety and security of the facility.
