Aurobora

History

Aurobora began life as an invitational fine art press located in San Francisco dedicated to the monotype medium. Today we publish unique works on paper by artists of regional, national and international reputations and exhibit regularly changing shows of works produced at Aurobora at our gallery in Sun Valley, Idaho. Each year Aurobora invites select artists to work at our turn-of-the-century barn/studio in the Wood River Valley. It is here where Aurobora encourages artists to embrace the idea that without experimentation there is no discovery, and without discovery there can be no regeneration. Artists often arrive at Aurobora with no preconceptions so through experimentation their resulting work often yields new directions within their individual oeuvre that are subsequently integrated into the artist's primary medium.
