Improvement Starts At Advanced Vision Therapy Center.Advanced Vision Therapy Center provides assessment and treatment of binocular vision problems and working memory / processing speed deficits. All vision therapy and Interactive Metronome sessions are one-on-one with our Board Certified Occupational Therapist who is specifically trained in vision therapy; and under the direction of Idaho's only Residency trained Neuro-Optometrist. Advanced Vision Therapy Center is a place for individuals who's needs cannot be met with a general eye examination or prescription glasses alone.Advanced Vision Therapy Center offers in-depth, specialized assessments to diagnose vision problems that routine eye examinations cannot effectively diagnose or identify. Advanced Vision Therapy Center offers three types of assessments, each tailored to specific areas of visual function: Binocular Vision Assessments: This is an assessment of eye teaming and visual perceptual abilities. Anyone who has been diagnosed with strabismus (eye turn or wandering eye) or amblyopia (lazy eye) or convergence insufficiency should have a binocular vision assessment. For this reason, an athlete vision assessment for a soccer player will look very different than the assessment for a baseball player. Depending on the level of competition the assessment can be position-specific, meaning the assessment for a center fielder will differ from that of the pitcher. Neuro-Optometric Assessment: This is an assessment that investigates the visual effects of an acquired brain inj...
